Counseling

Wilson Middle School provides a comprehensive school counseling program that is developmental, proactive, preventative, and systemic in nature. It is sequential, clearly defined, accountable, and integral to the educational program of the district. It assists students in acquiring and using life-long learning skills.

School counselors use strategies to enhance academic development, provide career awareness and employment readiness, and encourage self-awareness and interpersonal communication skills.

The counseling program meets the national standards of the American School Counseling Association.
